I’m Florence, the heart and hands behind Florence Wear MUA. Whether you’re a bride-to-be, attending a special event, or just someone who loves the transformative power of makeup, I’m here to bring your beauty visions to life.
My love for makeup started when I was just a child. I’ve always loved expressing myself through the power of makeup (though, let’s be honest, my early attempts were more creative than polished!). The turning point came on my 13th birthday when I went to see Cats the musical. I was mesmerized by how makeup transformed the performers into such captivating characters. As soon as I got home, I grabbed some face paints and turned myself into the cats from the show. That moment sealed the deal—I was hooked!
After finishing school, I knew makeup wasn’t just a passion; it was what I wanted to do every day. I went to college to study makeup artistry and was lucky enough to meet Sandie (from Sandra Elizabeth Hair and Makeup). She introduced me to the world of weddings, and I quickly fell in love with the magic of a wedding morning. There’s something so special about being part of a bride’s big day, helping her feel confident and radiant as she embarks on one of the best days of her life.
And the rest, as they say, is history!

I specialize in working with unique and alternative brides, whether you’re dreaming of a natural, glowing look with effortless braids or a bold, dramatic statement—I’ve got you covered! My goal is to create the most authentic version of you, adding just the right touch of glam to make you glow from the inside out. Every look I create is completely customized to fit your style, personality, and vision, so you feel like the best version of yourself on your special day
