Bridal Emergency Kit

Essentials every bride needs on her wedding day

Of course I do my upmost to make sure your hair and makeup lasts as long as possible but things happen and unfortunetly makeup isn’t indestructable!

Here’s a list of must have essentials to keep you looking flawless from ceremony to reception.

  1. Mini Touch Up Kit: I gift a small touch up kit to all my brides, containing: a small pot of lip stick with applicator, a beauty sponge, powder puff with powder applied, lash glue and blotting paper. I would also recommend adding a concealer, your own powder, setting spray.
  2. Hair Pins, Clips, and Elastic Bands: Including extra hair pins, clips, and elastic bands in your kit. These come in handy for securing loose strands, adjusting your veil or hair accessories if needed.
  3. Travel-Sized Hair Spray: Keep your hairstyle intact throughout the festivities with a travel-sized hair spray. Opt for a flexible hold formula that won’t make your hair stiff but will help maintain volume and shape.
  4. Nail File and Clear Nail Polish: Don’t let a chipped nail ruin your perfect bridal look. Pack a nail file to smooth out any snags and a clear nail polish for quick touch-ups. This way, you can fix minor nail issues on the go.
  5. Stain Remover Pen or Wipes: Accidents happen, especially with white wedding dresses. Be prepared for spills or stains with a stain remover pen or wipes specifically designed for clothing. Test these products on a hidden area of your dress beforehand to ensure they won’t damage the fabric.
  6. Comfort Essentials: Don’t forget about your comfort throughout the day. Include items like blister pads or cushions for shoes, pain relievers for headaches or discomfort, and breath mints or spray for freshening up before photos or close moments.
  7. Straw and Water Bottle: Stay hydrated without ruining your lipstick by using a straw. Keep a reusable water bottle nearby to sip on throughout the day, especially during busy pre-ceremony preparations.
  8. Tissues: Tears of joy are common on wedding days. Keep tissues handy for dabbing away tears without smudging your makeup.
  9. Emergency Sewing Kit: Lastly, include an emergency sewing kit with needles, thread in matching dress color, and safety pins. This kit can be a lifesaver for last-minute wardrobe malfunctions like loose buttons or torn seams.

Stay prepared and enjoy every moment of your special day with confidence!
